Several little missions and churches dot the southwest. This church is at the foothills of the San Juan mountains, nestled in where the pine, scrub oak and salt cedar meet the foothills on the western side of the San Luis Valley. This is just one of the beautiful places in the San Luis Valley that my Mother's family calls home.
