This is one of many (and many more to come) images I've painted of the Santuario de Chimayo in Chimayo New Mexico. This little church has great energy and great angles. It may not be recreated quite as much as the famous St Francis Church in Taos, but it's a close second! If ever in New Mexico, you have to visit this lovely little gem! This piece is from an original in oil pastel.
