From my late summer trip to southern Colorado and the San Louis Valley.

La Garita, Colorado. This little village at the foothills of the San Juan mountains is nestled in where the pine, scrub oak and salt cedar meet the foothills on the western side of the San Luis Valley. This is just one of the beautiful places in the San Luis Valley that my Mother's family calls home.
