At the base of the San Juan mountains, near La Garita, Colorado are several little adobe homes, ranches and homesteads. Sprinkled in here and there are the most delight little Spanish churches. This is just one of the beautiful places in the San Luis Valley that my maternal ancestors calls home.

Your style is wonderful. I love your piece "Abandoned Mission at Garita" It shows a positive happy upbeat feeling to what could be considered by many as a sad end to a place of worship. Beautiful. Such a refreshing and unique series of paintings for collecting.
