In the lower foothills of The Sangre De Cristo mountains, from Santa Fe to Taos is the what is considered to high road, or the upper road out of the Rio Grande Valley. There are several little adobe homes, ranches and homesteads nestled into these hills along the meandering road, truly "enchanting."
